BW on HANA 

1) SAP HANA-Optimized Objects (New)

       Can create the following details with HANA optimized technique

• Standard InfoCubes
• Standard DataStore objects
• Semantically partitioned objects that are optimized for use with SAP HANA database
• can convert existing objects into SAP HANA-optimized objects.

2) SAP HANA-Optimized Data Store Object: Change Log Compression (New)

• have the option of having a change log created for every activated record in SAP HANA-optimized DataStore objects.

3) Remodeling (Enhanced)

• Supports HANA-optimized & DSO

4) TransientProviders on SAP HANA Models

• Can create a Transient Provider and publish SAP HANA models in the BW system.
• Suitable for ad hoc data or scenarios that change frequently.

5) VirtualProvider (New)

• New Virtual provider based on HANA Model(like Analytic and Calculation view) 
• Stable and suitable for long term scenarios

6) Virtual Master Data (New)

• Have flexibility to create Virtual Master data if we want to retain virtual data only

7) Analytic Index / CompositeProvider (Enhanced)

• Also  have in SAP HANA database.earlier BW accelerator was needed

8) Composite Providers (Enhanced)

• Can create CompositeProviders in Analysis Process Designer
• also contain other InfoProviders in addition to analytic indexes.
• can now analyze join conditions in the CompositeProvider editing transaction
• CompositeProviders are now integrated into the Data Warehousing Workbench

9) BW Workspace (New)

• allow business users to create new models using central data from the BW system and local data, and to observe or react quickly to new and changing requirements.

10) Open Hub Destination (Enhanced)

• can write data directly to a different SAP HANA database.

11) Data Transfer Process (Enhanced)

• Using the ODP data replication interface, we can load mass data directly into an InfoProvider, without dataload into the PSA
• DTP setting is used to automatically activate master data after it has been updated.  Reason: aggregates are not used with the SAP HANA database.
• can use a query as the data source of a data transfer process with extraction mode Full.

12) DB Connect (Enhanced)

• can use DB Connect to replicate data to BW (and the BW schema) from any schema in the SAP HANA database.

13) Concept for Handling Inactive Data with SAP HANA Database (New)

• Concept of inactive data has been introduced to optimize main memory in SAP HANA
